Unless you get to the root or cause of a problem, you are forever dealing with fruit! You’ll never resolve the problem that way. Many doctors are focused on simply treating symptoms (fruit) and managing pain (fruit – again).
Pain is not necessarily a bad thing – God created your body to “speak” to you and tell you what it needs in order to be healthy. When you are not providing those things, you may begin experiencing pain or some other symptom. Your body is trying to get your attention! PAY ATTENTION!!
So many of the illnesses and conditions people are dealing with are simply fruit. As long as you avoid digging for and discovering the root or cause of the problem, you’ll just keep growing more fruit! And drugs simply manage pain or mask symptoms and cause fruit of their own (side effects!)
For example: You are overweight. That’s fruit. What’s your root? Is it eating too much junk food and never getting off the couch? Is it eating too many refined carbs and avoiding protein and vegetables like the plague? Is it not committing to a daily exercise program? Is it hormonal imbalances? Are you dehydrated? Stressed? Not sleeping enough?
Ok, now let’s say you take a “diet pill” that’s supposed to make you lose weight or you have your stomach stapled or your jaw wired shut – none of them address the root. They just temporarily stunt fruit growth.
You have elevated blood sugar or Type 2 diabetes. That’s fruit. What’s your root? Too much sugar? Too many refined, white flour carbs? Sitting too much and exercising too little?
So, you take one of the blood sugar drugs your doctor prescribes. If you don’t deal with the root, all it does is mask the fruit temporarily and begin to produce its own fruit (heart disease, cancer…)
You have a digestive problem – ulcer, GERD, indigestion, constipation – whatever. The burning/gas/pain are all fruit. What’s the root? Too many processed foods? Spicy foods? Not enough water? Too much caffeine? Too much stress? Not enough exercise?
So your doctor puts you on an acid reducing drug or laxative. You either lose the ability to go to the bathroom naturally or you lose the ability to properly digest your food. That creates its own really rotten fruit.
A headache is not a Motrin deficiency. It’s not the problem. It’s the fruit. It is your body’s way of getting your attention. It may be saying: you’re tired, take a nap; you’ve been on the computer too long, take a break; you’re dehydrated, drink some water; you need to clear your head, take a walk; you’re stressing over something, take a deep breath.
You get the idea – now, are you dealing with the root….or the fruit?
