This post by Dr. Richard Schulze about how a mom used his detox products to cure her son of eczema is heartwarming to me as a mom – but more than that I wanted to focus in on something Dr. Schulze said:
“NEVER underestimate the body’s ability to heal itself! If it is given the opportunity (even given half a chance) IT WILL HEAL ITSELF. And NEVER underestimate the body’s ability to figure out what is wrong with you, what it needs to do, and then manufacture the right internal natural medicines right inside you, and HEAL YOU! ”
I happen to agree with him. Our bodies are intelligently created by a loving God Who created us in His image! Too often we don’t use wisdom or listen to our bodies. Most times they will tell us exactly what we need IF we are paying attention. I try and explain to clients that once you get the right inner ecology in your body and give it the nutrients it requires, as well as thinking and speaking in line with God’s Word, God created our bodies to heal and return to health. We just have to make good choices and cooperate with our bodies.
My question to you is this: Do you believe that you already possess everything you need to be healthy and live a vibrant life of vitality?
Ann,
Yes, I do. I was just listening to something this past weekend about the human body and the way our mind and thoughts affect everything including things like stress, our relationships, and the circumstances around us. There’s tremendous power in our bodies because, like you said, we have been created in the image of God.
Ann,
Yes, I absolutely believe that God created my body to work perfectly. Even though I don’t always give it what it needs, my body has an amazing ability to heal itself.
Have a Victorious Day!
Marianne
You bet! There is so much information out now regarding how our emotions affect our bodies and can make them create pain. I can often sense my body calling out to me for some rest, exercise, water or good nutrients. Recently when I spend several days at the hospital, my eating wasn’t all that great and I could almost feel my body screaming for real food! Amazing how God made our bodies.
I agree completely — however, like everything, it comes down to choices, and just like we have all the tools to be healthy, it takes the choice to follow through with them.
Thanks for sharing!
