Cellular Memory – Part One

Ok, let’s continue. We’ve been taught to believe that all “memories” are stored in our minds. But that isn’t true! Many experts now consider your entire body to be your “subconscious mind” because every cell in your body records feelings from experiences throughout your life. It actually begins at conception and your cells can also have cellular memories passed to you from your parents!

In an amazing set of teaching CDs God brought to my attention called Change Your Heart, Change Your World by Dr. Jim Richards he explains that every feeling you have is expressed as a frequency. We are energetic beings. In fact all material objects are energetic fields and each thought, belief, emotion and feeling has a specific frequency just as every one of your organs has a specific frequency. Your heart has its own unique frequency, more unique even than your fingerprints! Proverbs 23:7 says as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. Belief of heart is a powerful force and sends signals to and influences every cell in your body. In fact, the energy field from your heart is 5,000 times stronger than that of your brain. If you want to learn more about this, I suggest you visit HeartMath. They have free articles and e-books and so much information about heart coherence and how you are truly constantly broadcasting – every thought, attitude and emotion emits an energetic field that affects you, those around you and your environment!

These feelings, which are physically expressed as frequencies, drive behavior and are what cause us to do destructive, negative things. That behavior in turn feeds the feelings and continues this cycle. If you ever wondered why you sometimes do things that make no sense, it is most likely because you are automatically responding to these stored cellular memories without even realizing it. Since feelings drive our actions, and we can be reacting to subconscious, stored cellular memories we aren’t even aware of, they don’t always “make sense.

Even the apostle Paul said in Romans 7:20-25: “But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am not really the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it. I have discovered this principle of life—that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. So you see how it is: In my mind I really want to obey God’s law, but because of my sinful nature I am a slave to sin.”

In the most basic of terms, there are 2 primary energies in the universe: love and fear. Anything that is not from love like anger, anxiety, sadness, hurt, frustration, guilt, resentment, disappointment is a form of fear. And fear produces stress in you which is destructive beyond belief! One 5-minute episode of anger depresses your immune system for up to six hours! When that negative “program” is running it effectively shuts down love and its healing capacity, causes us to tense up, and shuts down the brain to direct all our energy to protecting ourselves – so it even makes it more difficult to think clearly! It also shifts your cells from healing mode to protection mode – which shuts off their ability to be nourished and heal. More about this next post!

Have you ever said or done something and after wondered – where did that come from?

  1. Ann, both the Queen and I are looking forward to your next post! I printed this out for her to read and she shed some tears when she read the last paragraph, remembering how a friend of her family prayed years ago for her to let go of “fear” in her life. She could relate to the various forms of fear you brought out in your post. Long bouts of physical pain can cause fear to be a big part of your life. Thanks for all you do!

  2. Wow, Ann this is amazing stuff! I’m just in awe of your knowledge. Thanks for sharing this!

Ann, that’s incredible! Wow, wow, and WOW! I’m going to have do something serious thinking about things I’ve done or said that were questionable coming from me…

It’s beyond incredible to me -especially realizing we are usually not even aware of the origins of these things!

  4. Ann,

I have often felt that my husband and I are on the same “frequency” and you have given me some facts to back that up. Thanks for this fascinating information.

    Have a Victorious Day!

    Ann,
Great article here! This cellular memory topic is very interesting! That crazy to thing that one 5 minute episode of anger depresses your immune system for up to six hours. Wow!

Would you say this points to us “creating” our own reality, how we perceive and interpret things?
