Your heart sends signals to and influences every cell in your body and programs your DNA. So in order to get to the “root” of any problem, you must deal with it at a heart level. Proverbs 17:22 says a merry heart does good! Jeremiah 17:9 tells us the heart is “deceitful” above all things. Dr. Richards explains that to mean that the heart has “footprints” or energetic frequencies. We receive those energetic “footprints” in the form of beliefs programed into our DNA from conception to the present day. Chaotic energy frequencies are known to damage the body and harmonic frequencies like love, joy and peace, heal.
Let me explain this using something we all identify with – a computer program: We are created with certain “programs,” one of which is the “self-healing” program. We corrupt the files of this program with non-truths, which causes the program to run more and more slowly until finally it fails (we become ill). In order to “fix” this problem the incorrect data must be removed and replaced with correct information. Since everything ultimately exists at its most common denominator as energy, with a corresponding vibrational frequency, that frequency can be transformed or changed – we just need to know how.
Healing and medicine began as a spiritual function – turning to God, praying for healing, the laying on of hands. This progressed to herbal medicine and then on to physical medicine as we know it today which uses surgery to remove growths, etc. and chemical medicine – the myriad pharmaceutical drugs. However, there are serious limits to that – you can “cut out” a diseased cell or organ, but you cannot “cut out” a memory! However it is just as real, and even more real because the unseen, spiritual is the parent of the seen. 2 Corinthians 4:18 Amp. says it this way: “Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.”
I see how peace, shalom, truly is a state of being where nothing is missing and nothing is broken, as the definition in Hebrews says, and that stress and these negative, false beliefs disturb our peace and eventually cause breakdown of our bodies. When we are stressed, our cells are “closed” and unable to effectively absorb nutrition. That is why we can do everything “right” on a physical level and still not see improvement or complete resolution.
There is so much more to this – but, for now, I would like to leave you with this scripture: “If you are willing and obedient you will eat the good of the land” Isaiah 1:19.
How willing are you to do something different in order to be truly healthy?
