You may be thinking – why bother to pay someone to evaluate what I’m doing now when I already know I need to do better? You may realize you need to improve your diet, drink more water, reduce sugar intake, learn how to create healthier meals or eliminate certain foods, but you may have absolutely no clue where to begin in order to accomplish that.
You may even realize you don’t feel great and have 20 or more pounds to lose or you want to get off pharmaceutical meds but have absolutely no idea what you need to change and how to begin changing it.
My plans are all based on evaluations because unless you truly acknowledge and understand where you currently are and why it is not working, you won’t be able to make positive changes. I find people need to clearly see where they are before they will even consider making the changes to get where they need and deeply desire to be.
For example, one of the first clients I had for my Today’s the Day 7 Week Fitness Plan completed the evaluation and what jumped out at me immediately was that she was not eating enough calories! She was floored and I know it sounds crazy but once we got her to the right amount she started losing weight! Another client did my 3 Day Diet Makeover because she wanted to know how to eat to lower her cholesterol so she could go off statin drugs. With a few simple tweaks to what she was doing, within 3 months she was able to lower her cholesterol enough to have her doctor wean her off her statin drugs. And she even dropped 7 pounds in the process!

They are the next step: more in-depth, providing a wealth of information including specific resources in order to empower you to take control of your own health. (Of course anything I offer is simply a recommendation that you should run by your health care provider.) One gentleman I worked with wanted to lower his blood pressure without resorting to pharmaceutical drugs and as of this writing (6 years later) he was and remains successful!
An evaluation can arm you with the specific information you need in order to move forward and you can then take targeted, intentional steps toward achieving your health goals. Of course, having someone available to you via email, phone and/or skype regularly providing support, encouragement, accountability and direction helps you begin walking out those changes so they become your new normal!
